Ethiopia

In this land of many ethnic groups and languages, ravaged too often by war and by AIDS, two religions dominate: Ethiopian Orthodox and Islam. Yet the Seventh-day Adventist message is moving forward in exciting ways, preached by lay people, converted Muslims, and former evangelical workers. Some of these gospel workers have quit paying jobs to preach the message freely—and the Lord has crowned their efforts with souls won! These faithful evangelists need our support so that they can continue their ministry unencumbered by financial constraints. You can help support these workers for $40 a month. Just mark your donation “Ethiopia Workers.”

A simple house of worship in construction

As new believers join the faith and new churches are planted, they often must meet in the open air or in people’s residences for lack of a house of worship. A simple church can be built for $3,000–$4,000, but this is beyond their means to provide. If you would like to help establish memorials for God in this impoverished nation, mark you donation “Ethiopia Churches.”

If you would like to donate for any of these needs you may donate online now by clicking here. Please note the country and the specific project (i.e. evangelists, church buildings, etc.) you would like to donate to. Or you can mail a donation to:
