in India Training schools are one of God’s appointed ways to finish the work in this world and we need to do all that we can to train the youth to act the part that God wants them to play. “The Lord has appointed the youth to be His helping hand.” Christian [...] I was converted to the Seventh-day Adventist faith from a tribal people who are idol worshippers. I am careful to always attend the Sabbath services. One Sabbath day there was a heavy rain in our village. The bus, which we usually take to go to church, did not come so we decided to walk to [...] As the days get progressively shorter, how glad I am that soon the trend will turn around. While our darkness in Washington does not even compare with the long nights of the northern hinterlands, I am always glad when the days start increasing again, even if it only incrementally. The longing for long sunny days [...] It has been a truly rewarding experience to see the hand of our Lord work against all odds in helping us get our Missionary Training Program started in April, 2009. Rain, rain and more rain! I have seldom seen so much water coming down at once. It seemed like the heavens had been opened. We had just arrived at our destination – Churachandpur, a town in Manipur, a province tucked away in the very corner of North East India. For five months the farmers have [...] The Village of M. Kulakudi Green Pastures Home and School has been increasing their vision. After being a successful orphanage and school for many years, they are now looking to train young men and women to be successful missionaries. They have opened the doors to their Missionary Training School, and some of the very children who used to be orphans [...] A comfortable easy chair is probably something all appreciate. Aching and fatigued, plopping into a favorite easy chair brings great relief; but sometimes easy chairs are a dangerous enemy-beckoning loudly when work is calling.
